Have you ever endured the lie of a mistaken identity? - Sabrina S.

When we feel small, insignificant, or insecure it can be so tempting to try to stay hidden.  If this is your experience, may you find hope hearing Sabrina share, “Something profound happened as I took this step. I could say, ‘Now, I feel confident! I’m ready to show up, be seen AND be heard!’”

Reflection Questions

What can you relate to?

As you consider your own life, which part of Sabrina’s story seems to reach out for your hand and remind you that you’re not alone?

Consider the phrases, “Have you ever felt like you are walking around with a negative label” or “have you been believing a lie about yourself?

Do you see yourself in these statements?

What promises can you anchor to?

What is one truth or hope that you can grab ahold of from Sabrina’s story and take back into your own life as you seek hope and healing this week? Consider this powerful truth that because of Christ, “I know I am worthy of God’s love whether I fail or succeed” or “When we truly see how God sees us, then the lies we used to believe fall away”.

Prayer

Almighty Father, you have made the woman reading this right now a vision of beauty with great purpose and destiny. We pray you would expose any lies she may be believing about herself, that you would lift those lies off and surround her with new truth. Would you would overwhelm her with your good thoughts of her. Remind her that she is  uniquely loved, uniquely fashioned, and uniquely gifted. When or if she feels the urge to compare herself to others, place grace over her and align her vision to yours. The names you give her are powerful for casting off all negative labels - thank you, Father God!

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus -

Amen!

Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in Heaven.

Matthew 5:14-16

There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!

Romans 8:39 TPT
